Monsters Known to Live in Packs and Nests This is not always a definite rule however, as some prefer to live on their own as well. Pack leaders serve as the bosses of these groups. They are the creators of the rest of their species, and as such are the undisputed leaders of their kind.Īlthough many monsters are solitary, some, particularly the intelligent ones, form groups or packs, where they live and hunt together in "nests". As a result, each one is more powerful than any other member of their species. Yetis (mentioned in Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting)Īlphas are the first of each monster, and the direct descendants of Eve. Yamaotoko (mentioned in Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting). Unnamed Salt-sucking Critters (mentioned in Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting). Ondines (tie-in novels and Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting). Naguals (tie-in novels and mentioned in Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting). Living House (mentioned in Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting). Cyclops (mentioned in Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting). Alpha Borderwalker (tie-in novels only). Monsters that have appeared only in material regarded as Non-canon. These are creatures that have been featured as monsters-of-the-week but have an unknown origin and are unconfirmed to be descendants of Eve. These monsters are significantly weaker than the elite or their respective Alphas. These monsters are of the strongest type (under the Alphas), either by being physically stronger than the rest, have extremely powerful abilities or are so unique that it is hard for hunters to hunt them. Alpha Wraith (mentioned in Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting). Alpha Borderwalker (tie-in books only, created by Huehuecoyotl). Alpha Ghoul (mentioned in Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting). Alpha Wendigo (mentioned in Bobby Singer's Guide to Hunting). In There Will Be Blood it was implied that the Alpha Vampire was the last though this is unconfirmed. The fate of most is unknown following Crowley's hunt for Alphas and through them, Purgatory. They are very rare, which means the majority of hunters have never met one, nor will ever. These are the supreme monsters, due to them being the very first of their species, which means they greatly outclass all of their children in terms of strength and abilities no matter how powerful their children are. When they die, their souls are sent to neither Heaven nor Hell, but to Purgatory. These are the monsters that were confirmed to be created by Eve. 8.6 Departure of the British Men of Letters.
